A while ago, I made a list of 30 things I wanted to do before I hit the big 30. I realised that life was passing me by a bit. I was an 'all work and no play' kinda gal, and only partially by choice. Now it's 6 weeks before I hit 31 and I have done some, but not all, of the activities. There were money issues, changes of plan, changes of heart, changes of job, changes of...well you get the picture: a lot changed.
So I have decided to rewrite the list and add to it, as and when I have new goals. There is still some of the original list left. I have also included what I did manage to do. I have crossed out those completed tasks, put the ones I am working on in italics and the rest...well, I will get around to them sometime.
Here is my list:
1. Go to Australia
2. Learn to ski
3. Learn to sail a boat I recently learnt how to sail a more complicated boat!
4. Go to an opera and if possible see Turandot
5. Go to Ireland
6. Get at least 100 followers on my blog. April 30th 2012
7. Go to a festival in a different country.
8. Go down a hill on a bike really fast (without crying)
9. Go to South Africa/Africa on safari
10. Eat a weird (by UK standards) animal
11. Run 5K without collapsing
12. Go fishing
13. Eat at a famous restaurant January 2013
14. Learn to knit
15. Go to the races/dogs
16. Invent a cocktail
17. Learn to salsa dance
18. Raise 100 pounds for charity I raised £210 for charity on 13/05/2012 and then another 184.56 in November.
19. Join a book club and start my own online. and help make it successful!
20. Write a fan letter
21. Go to a concentration camp (planned for July 2013)
22. Attend a WI meeting
23. Cook a campfire meal
24. Sew a dress
25. Finish level A2.1 German before summer 2013
26. Cross a country in a car

Learn to kayak

Hold a stall at a craft fair Done 25/11/2012
29. Raise MORE money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
30. Write an ebook!
31. I AM about to go there.....get married (no ring yet though folks)!!

I gained 100 followers to my blog, went fishing, learned to knit and sewed a dress... But that's all off of the list. That is cool that you want to learn some German. My grandma was from Germany. :)
