Life in Japan - A Guest Post by Sue @ Hello, Also I love you.

I am delighted to have swapped blogs with Sue today.  I really enjoy reading her blog because you get to hear about her awesome adventures living in Japan.  I'd love it if you would pop and over and read my post on adjusting to German life too....after you have read this, of course!

Hello to Rosie's lovely readers! I'm Sue and I blog over at Hello. Also, I love you. I live in Japan with my husband and my puppy. I write about the ups and downs of life and everything in between. I try to always be honest with myself and others in my writing. I don't have anything that I consider my "speciality" in blogging. I'm terrible at WIW, recipes, and crafts, although I sometimes attempt each of them. If you have some time come visit my blog and say hello- I love to make new friends!

Rosie and I are swapping blogs to give each other's readers a fun perspective on living in a foreign country. I've always imagined living abroad but I never thought it would be Japan. I thought it would be somewhere like England, Ireland, or Scotland. You know, somewhere they speak English. Or and least France or Spain where I can sound out their words. Here in Japan all the signs look like this. Go ahead, just try and pronounce that.

Aside from the reading difficulties, living in Japan is amazing. The food is delicious (I ate ox tongue on accident...), the people are friendly, and the country is just beautiful. They have pretty buildings like this hidden at the most random spots. It's worth getting lost just to find one.

I've loved exploring the country with my husband and having all sorts of new adventures that I wouldn't have otherwise. It's amazing to be having a new experience in a foreign country and I feel so blessed to be here with my hubby!

What a cool post! Hi Rosie, I'm a new follower and found you via Distressed Donna Down Home.
@ Sue, first I think you have the cutest smile and face. : ) I'm with you on learning Japanese, I tried when I was in high school from school mates but only learned a few words. But yes, its a great opportunity and the island is truly beautiful. Will make it over to your blog later so I can keep up as you discover your new space. : ) Have a good week ladies.
