Well, I'm back in Germany, which means I have been able to take pictures of some more of decorations that I made for my boyfriend's birthday. The gift and back story can be found here.
I found ideas for decorations on Pinterest (of course) - you can check out some of my inspiration on my board here as well as the recipes I used to cook a Spanish dinner.
The result was a series of ruffled streamers (instructions from Dana Made It) and some large paper flowers made from napkins (instructions from Dana again!)
Unfortunately they got a little bit squashed going to Germany....but came back to life quite well. My boyfriend really liked them (and received a pre-Germany endorsement from my mum, who is quite hard to impress). I could have bought the flowers already made. However it cost £7 (about $10) for 3. I made 9 for £2!
